Watercolor rainbow featuring Party Animal from Lawn Fawn

Hi crafty friends!

Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!!
I haven't had any crafty time for the last week or so as my friends was down but I spent all day yesterday in my craft room, sadly I only got one card done. It takes a bit for me to get my creative mojo back.
I do have a card to share with you today that I made some time ago but only getting around to share it now.

I once again used the party animal set from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the little images in the set on watercolor paper in multiple different colors and and ran over each image with a water brush to give it a slight watercolor look. I colored my critter using Zig watercolor real brush markers and fussy cut out it out and adhered him on top of some grass I created using the grassy border die, also by Lawn Fawn. I added my sentiment to some vellum and added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish off my card.
That's it for today! Hope you all have an amazing week! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Embossed card for Lawnscaping challenge

Hi crafty friends!!
Happy Wednesday!! Hope your all having a lovely week so far!
I'm super sick today, which is no fun while I have company down, I'm not being the best host as all i want to do is sleep.
Summer colds suck!Yuck.
Anyhow!! Thought I drop in quickly to share a card I made for the Embossing challenge over at the Lawnscaping blog.

I used the Critters in the Jungle set for this card. This is a new stamp set in my stash. My lovely crafty friend Heidi sent it to me for my B-day not to long ago. How sweet!
Ok onto my card. I started with water color paper and die cut a piece using my stitched rectangle die from MFT. I stamped my monkey and leaves first in black Versafine ink (it stays wet long enough to be able to heat emboss with) I had to mask off my monkeys face and arm before I stamped my sentiment across to make it look like my cute little monkey was hanging from it. I then covered in black embossing powder and set with my heat tool. I colored all my images using my Zig clean color real brush markers and a water brush. I matted this panel on a a piece of indigo blue card stock that I embossed using an embossing folder and ran through my cuddle-bug machine.

That's it for my embossed card today!! Hope you enjoyed. I'm off to get more rest lol.
Have a lovely rest of you week.
Thank you SO much for stopping by!!:)

It was my Birthday on Saturday, so I had a weekend full of food of my choosing, which was was kind of amazing! (I love food) :p

Stopping in to share a card I created with the adorable Playful Pups stamp set from Mama Elephant.

With my grey card stock I stamped the little paw prints in the set with grey ink and cut a heart out using my Cricut and adhered this panel on a white card stock. I stamped my little puppy on water color paper and colored him in with my Zig clean color markers and fussy cut him out.

A really simple card today but love how cute that puppy is!!

My best friend is coming in today from Saskatchewan, I'm super excited! I haven't seen her since my wedding last summer. Just doing some last minute crafting before I leave to the airport  as I likely wont get into my craft room this week. Anyhow hope you all have a lovely day!!

Watercolor card featuring Happy Mail by Wplus9

Hello again crafty friends!

Here today to share a card I made featuring the Happy Mail set from Wplus9. Another adorable set from their newer collection. So cute!

Once again I water colored my images using my Zig clean color markers. I started off with a water color paper panel I die cut using the stitched rectangle dies from MFT. I stamped my adorable little critter scene and colored with a water color brush. I then adhered this panel sort of off set on some Lavender card stock from SSS. The background polka dots is just some patterned paper I had in my stash. I decided not to put a sentiment on the outside as I just liked the cute little scene as it was, so I stamped my sentiment in the inside! :)

Hope your not getting tired of my water coloring yet because I'm sort of obsessed with these markers, may be playing with them for a while:p
Thank you so much for stopping by to look at my card!!
Have a lovely week!!!

I Miss You, Penguins in Paradise card featuring My Favorite Things

Hello!!
Happy Monday! Hope you had a lovely weekend!

Here with a clean and simple card today featuring the Penguins in Paradise set from My Favourite Things, how cute is this set?! I just love these little penguins.

I will be playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge for the Food/Drink challenge.  I thought this little guy holding his drink was fitting:)

I kept my card fairly simple, keeping the focus on the cute little penguin. I once again water colored with my Zig clean color real brush markers (obsessed with these things right now!) I die cut a piece of watercolor paper using the stitched rectangle dies from MFT and stamped and colored my image.
For the background I cut a small strip of Icy Mint card stock from Bazzil and stamped small images from the set in a similar ink color for a tone on tone look. I cut a tiny strip of melon mambo card stock and used the Stitched Border dies from Lawn Fawn to get the stitching across it. On the back of my penguin panel i adhered a piece of fun foam or foam paper (purchased from my local dollar store) to add dimension and then adhered on to my card base.

That's it for my card! I cried to keep it cute and simple. Hope you enjoyed:)
As always, I truly appreciate you stopping by! Thank you!

Happy Birthday Navy Blue and Bright Pink Color Combo

Hello again crafty friends!
Happy Friday!

So I really wanted to create a card using navy blue and bright pink just because I love those colors and wanted to see them together. Turns out I love them together so may have to use this color combo more often.

I started off with navy blue card stock for my card base. I used a strip of Melon Mambo card stock that i ran through my die machine using the stitched border dies from Lawn Fawn to give it some interest. The floral stamp is from an older stamp set from Stampin up called Because I care. I stamped the flowers in Nautical Blue ink. I added a piece of a doily under my image panel. I stamped the happy part of the sentiment from a stamp from the Happy Mail stamp set from W plus 9 and die cut the birthday part of the sentiment using my Happy Birthday die from SSS.
To finish off the card I popped on some pink sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Thank you so much for stopping by to look at my card!
Hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Newton's Nap time

Hello again!!

Here to share a quick post today.
I made a quick card using the Newton's Naptime stamp set from Newton's Nook.

I simply stamped it on some kraft card stock and colored in using colored pencils.
I stamped the hearts in the set with white ink. I added a white piece of card stock and some bakers twine to finish it off.

That's it! A really simple card, although it did take me a while to color but other then that it would be a really quick card to duplicate.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!!

Gender neutral baby card featuring W plus 9

Hello again!

I have a baby card to share with you today using the Party Animal set from W plus 9. I've told you how much I like this set right? So darn cute! That little giraffe was perfect for a baby card!

I will be playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge blog for the tie it up challenge, to use ribbon or twine:)

I used Daffodil Delight card stock for my card base, I stamped little hearts in the same color to create my background (I'm sorry I can't remember which stamp set I pulled the tiny heart from). I die cut a circle out and put a white background behind it which I sponged some blue ink on. I water colored my little giraffe on water color paper and fussy cut them out to adhere him on the card. I used the congratulations sentiment from the Scripty Sayings stamp set from Lawn Fawn and manipulated it on my acrylic block to go around the circle. The other sentiment is from the Nursery Deco stamp set from Mama Elephant.
I finished my card off with some ribbon and a bow from May Arts and some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's it for my card today! Hope your all having a lovely day and thank you so much for stopping by!!!

Floral card featuring Clearly Besotted for Sparkle and Shine Challenge

Hi crafty friends!!

Here today to share a card I created for the Sparkle & Shine Challenge.
I just fell in love with inspiration picture for this challenge the orange of the flowers are just so striking and bright. Orange isn't a color I use often or at all really so I was excited to try something new and I actually like the way it turned out quite a bit!

I started with watercolor paper and used Spiced Marmalade Distress ink for the orange splatter. I did this by using the "smooshing " technique. I smudged the ink pad onto a plastic sheet and spritzed with water and then smooshed it onto my paper . I stamped my bouquet of roses from the Delightful Day stamp set from Clearly Besotted on a separate piece of watercolor paper and colored in using my Zig clean color watercolor markers. I cut my image out and tied some bakers twine around the stems. I used some polka dot pattern paper I had in my stash and added some skinny black strips of card stock at the edge of my pattern paper.
I finished the card by adding some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's it for today. Hope you all have an awesome Friday and an amazing weekend.  I'm off camping this weekend so that should be fun hopefully.
Thanks for stopping by!!

TBT card - You are simply the best.

Hi there!
Here with another Throw Back Thursday card!
I'm really enjoying pulling out old stamp sets and getting use out of them.
Today is another older set from Stampin Up called Pleasant Poppies. I'ts just one big stamp, almost like a background stamp of all these pretty flowers.
I cut strips of a few different colors of card stock (will list below) and adhered them all on a panel, I then stamped my image on it. I colored in some of the flowers just using a similar Copic marker color to the shade of that card stock just for some shading. I then went in and covered all the stems with diamond Stickles.
My sentiment in from the Simply You stamp set by Technique Tuesday & Ali Edward & I polished it off by using a brad I had in my stash.

As always I apprciate you stopping by!
Thank you!
Have a lovely rest of your day!

Party Animal scene featuring Lawn Fawn

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!
I have a fun Lawn Fawn card to share with you today. I thought I'd make a scene out of the adorable critters from the Party Animal set. I'm still loving playing with this set! It's such a perfect set for birthdays!

My main panel is water water paper, it's subtle but I water colored some blue in the background. I die cut my grass using the grassy borders die, my hill from the stitched hillside borders die. I used two different shades of blue and some vellum to create my clouds and die cut them using the puffy cloud border set. I stamped my images from the party animal set and the critters in the forest set on a separate piece of water color paper and colored using my Zig clean color real brush markers and a water brush and then fussy cut them out once they were dry to adhere on my card.

Hope your having an amazing week so far!!
Thank you so much for always being so sweet and supportive with your kind words!!:). Thank for stopping by today!!
See you tomorrow wit another TBT card. :)

Newton's Nook Summer Lovin challenge

Hi there!

Stopping in today to share a card I created for the Newton's Nook Summer Lovin challenge.

I used the Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set for my card. I created my main panel using kraft card stock and stamped using the same ink color with some other stamps in the set to create my own background. I used my stitched rectangle dies to cut out a piece of water-colored paper. I used my Zig clean color makers to color in the background with different shades of blue. I stamped a fish in the water area from the Winston's Birthday stamp set. I stamped my kitty image on water colored paper, colored with my Zig clean color markers as well and fussy cut out to adhere on my card.

Hope you enjoyed my summer card! I kinda like the way the water turned out!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!!

Miss you card featuring W plus 9 and MFT

Hi crafty friends!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
I had a nice and relaxing weekend, it's kind of nice to not have much plans sometimes, meant I was able to get a bunch of crafting in which always makes me happy. :)

I have a clean and simple card for you today. Using Pretty Little Peonies stamp set from W plus 9 and Written in Watercolor stamp set from My Favorite things. I used this same stamp combo not to long ago on a card, you can see here. I liked them together so much I decided to make another.
I will also be playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge blog for the anything goes challenge.

I used the outline flower from the set, stamped with Versafine ink on watercolor paper and colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush marker, Instead of using my water brush to move the color around, I used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen, mainly because I couldn't find my water brush at the time but I love the way it turned out, all shimmery!! Looks awesome in person :) The background blue i did just with the watercolor brush.
I stamped my sentiment and adhered my panel on Icy Mint cardstock from Bazzil.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hope you have a lovely week!!
