Hugs To You Shaker Card

Hello!

I have a shaker card to share with you today! I adore the look of white on white, there's something simple but elegant to it. So I was going for that with a pop of color with all the colored sequins.

I started with white card stock and inlayed together both the Stitched rectangle die and the Storybook 5 die from Pretty Pink Posh to create a frame. I cut the little strip left behind from the Storybook 5 die and kept the small rectangle piece for my sentiment. I assembled my shaker element and filled with a bunch of different colored sequins from PPP ( I will list all colors below) I inlayed the scallop border piece back into its place and secured it with some tape on the opposite side so it could not be seen and then lined with with dimensional tape so that it was at the same dimension of my shaker element. I then adhered that shaker panel onto an A2 sized white card base. The flowers are from the Watching Bloom stamp set, I stamped them in Versamark ink on Neeneh desert storm  and heat embossed with white embossing powder and fussy cut out. Unfortunately its not noticeable in the photo but I covered the flowers in Wink of Stella glitter pen to add some shimmer. I used the rectangle from my die cut earlier to stamp my sentiment on, which is from the Birdie Friends stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh, and adhered it onto my shaker element along with the cut out flowers.

That sums up my card for today!
I better skedaddle before my little miss wakes from her nap and wants food :p
Thank you SO much for stopping by!

Welcome Baby Cards featuring Newton's Nook

Hello there!

I have a trio of baby cards to share with you today featuring the sweet Lovable Laundry stamp set from Newton's Nook. Recently having a baby myself I knew this set would come in handy when creating my daughters scrapbook, I'm also at that age where lots of friends and people surrounding me are having babies and I never seem to have any baby cards ready to go so I thought I would create a trio of them to have for either gender and then one neutral.

For my trio of cards I started with an A2 size white card base and stamped the 'baby' sentiment all over the background with the coordination color. I die cut the Stitched Onsie die out in the coordinating colors along with a scallop circle die from Pretty Pink Posh. I adhered my onsie down along with the scallop circle surrounding it. I stamped my sentiment and cut out into a banner shape and adhered in the center of my onsie.
To finish off my card I scattered sparkling clear sequins from PPP.

For my pink card I used Cotton Candy ink from Simon Says Stamp and  Pink Pirouette card stock from Stampin up for my onsie and the scallop circle die cut.

For my blue card I used Sea Glass ink from Simon Says Stamp for my background along with Sea glass card stock for my onsie and scallop circle.

For my neutral card I used Smoke ink from Simon Says Stamp for my background and silver glitter paper for my onsie and scallop circle.

That's it for me today! I hope you enjoyed the trio of baby cards!
I'm starting to scrapbook all my baby girl pictures so I will likely be using this set again soon, however I think i will just be sharing those on my instagram page rather than blogging them so be sure to check it out.
Thank you SO very much for stopping by today!
Hope you have a lovely day!!

Shaker Tags featuring Pretty Pink Posh

Hello!
Hope your all having a lovely day!

I'm here today to share some shaker tags I created featuring the new Scallop Square tag dies and the Easter friends stamp set.
I think these tags would be a cute addition on a gift!

To create these tags I started with white card stock and die cut using both sizes of the Scallop Square tags, I in layed the small one inside the large one to create a frame for the window of the shaker. I filled my blue shaker tag with Hydrangea seed beads, Sparkling Clear sequins and Aquamarine sequins and backed my shaker with blue polka dot patterned paper from Lawn Fawn. For my pink shaker I filled it with Petunia seed beads, Sparkling Clear sequins and Pink Peonies sequins. To create the top hole part on each to be able to put twine through I used the hole and circle from the Stitched Essentials dies.
My boy and girl are from the Easter Friends stamp set, I stamped them on water color paper and colored in with Zig real brush markers. For the girl I masked off her bunny ears with some washi tape before stamping and used a black pen to fill in her head band. Once colored,I cut them out using the coordinating dies and adhered them onto my tags. Last but not least my little sentiment tags are from the Fox Friends stamp set.
That's it for my tags today!
I love having tags on hand for Birthday gifts!

Thank you so very much for stopping by today!!
