The Card Concept #47

HI friends!
A new challenge starts today at The Card Concept, based on the picture below. I was inspired by the colors!

I used a floral embossing folder with some kraft cardstock as the card base. I die cut a piece of water color cardstock with a scallop oval die from Avery Elle.  I stamped my roses from the Delightful Day stamp set from Clearly Besotted and colored them with antique linen distress ink, I was attempting to go the cream color roses look. I made a bow of twine to put on the flowers and finished the card off with some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's it for my card today! I hope you'll play along with us at The Card Concept!
Have a lovely day and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Sending Holiday Cheer Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #2

Hi there!
A new challenge starts today over at the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge blog.

I made my card using the middle row across, being Holiday, 100% stamped and die-cuts.
I realize the Holidays are over but I love this set and glad I had an excuse to use it for this challenge!:)
I kept it a fairly cas card and using non traditional Holiday colors
I used the adorable Winter Friend's stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh.
I stamped my images, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut them out. I used the smaller scallop border die also from PPP and just used a strip of it to use a ledge to hold my stocking.  I used a scallop circle die from Avery Elle with glitter paper to surround my scene. I stamped my sentiment on some vellum and added some sequins to finish it off.

That's it for my card today! I think i said it before but I love purple on Holiday cards:p
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hope you'll play along with us in the challenge:)

Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge 1

Hi all!
& Happy New Year!!
I hope you all had a lovely holiday and that the New Year is good to you!

Today is the first challenge of the new Stamping Smiles designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge!
I love the concept of this challenge! To create using elements from a tic-tac toe board is so much fun.
I'm so grateful to be a designer for this new challenge among such talented crafters!

For the first challenge I used the first row down, gold, celebrate and background stamping.

I started with a note card from Hero Arts and stamped the Large Plaid Pattern background stamp, an older stamp also from Hero Arts, using antique linen distress ink.  I die cut a piece of gold glitter paper using a border die from the Stitched Border 2 set from Pretty Pink Posh. I then stamped my sweet birthday bear from the Birthday Bears stamp set from My Favorite Things, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out. I gold embossed my sentiment from the Holiday Party Animal stamp set from Lawn Fawn and to finish my card off I scattered some gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's it for my card today! I hope you will play along with us with the challenge! Can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping by and again Happy New Year!!
