You probably came from Tammy H's blog. If not the full order is at the end of my post or you can start at the Lawnscaping blog.

For my first project I wanted to make my background look like coffee stains!
I created this effect by water-coloring with distress inks. I started with watercolor paper and colored on my distress inks ,I used both antique linen and frayed burlap with a water brush, creating sort of messy circles and sort of splattered some ink along the way. I stamped the little bean from the Love You Latte set along the edge. I used the new Stitched Borders die as well along the edge. I colored my little bear from the Party Animal set with Copic markers on separate piece of white card stock and fussy cut him out. I did the same with the little mug he's holding. I stamped my Love you latte sentiment to finish this card off:)

For my second project, I made a coffee scrub that I thought would make a cute little gift for any coffee lover. Its simply coconut oil and coffee grounds and smells amazing! But its not a gift without a cute little tag! I created the tag with the I Love You a Latte stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I started by cutting the tag out with my Cricut. I stamped my cute coffee images and colored them in with Copic markers, added my sentiment and some coffee steam and that's it for my tag. Easy and cute!:)

Thank you so much for hopping along today!
Hope your enjoying the coffee themed projects!
You have until 11:50PM EST on June 28th to get your comments in. Winners will be announced next week on the Lawnscaping blog.

Stars and Stripes vellum shaker card for Lawnscaping challenge

Hi again friends!
Stopping in quickly today with a card I created for the Lawnscaping Stars & Stripes Challnege.

I created a flat shaker card for this challenge.
Starting off with my background, I created the stripes using painters tape as a mask. I cut small strips and adhered them on my panel evenly. i stamped the tiny star from the Party Animal set using a few different colors of blue, while my striped masks are still on I then went in and sponged some pool party ink, removed my strips on tape creating my stripes.
Once my background was finished I then sewed on a piece of vellum, leaving the top part un sewn.(you could use tape or adhesive instead as that area was being covered but I found my stars were getting stuck to the tape.) I then filled with my star sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and completed sewing the top of my vellum. I covered this area up with a frame I created simply using my paper trimmer.
I colored my cute little fox from the Party Animal stamp set on some watercolor paper and using the clean color real brush markers, I love so dearly right now as mentioned earlier this week. I then fussy cut this little guy out to adhere on my card.
Oh! I forgot to mention my sentiment! I highly recommend stamping it on vellum before you have it sewn and stars in the background, which I didn't think of doing at the time and left it to the end.Oops! Well it stamped ok:)

I love how this turned out, the stars in the background make me happy!
Thank you so much for stopping in!

Sketch card for Sprakle & Shine challenge featuring Mama Elephant

Hello friends!
Happy Monday!
Here to drop in with a card I created for the Sparkle and Shine Challenge. This week was a fun sketch challenge.
I also got to play with some of the fun new products I received this week in this card, one being the adorable stamp set and the other being the Clean Color Real Brush water color markers that I've been dying  to try out. I have to say I LOVE them. When it comes to coloring in images, I suck at water coloring, I really do. Doing backgrounds with water coloring, not a problem at all but when it came to coloring in an image I would always get frustrated at the way it turned out. I've tried water color pencils and coloring with different inks such as distress inks and it always looked like 4 year old niece did it. So I decided to purchase a small pack (12 pack) of these popular markers everyone seems to be using and I have to say they're fantastic! They make me feel like I'm pro lol. I put a little color down, and then use a water brush to blend the color out. A little color goes a long way. I'm still playing around with them but so far I'm impressed. I purchased them off Amazon quite inexpensively, which is an added bonus. Any how that's my little review, sorry for babbling!

I cut a circle out from watercolor paper and I used the Play Pups set from Mama Elephant, stamped my adorable imaged and colored with my markers as mentioned. I cut my banner just using my paper trimmer and stamped with a similar blue ink as the card stock using other images from this set. I die cut a label using the Stitched Labels 1 die set from Pretty Pink Posh to stamp my image on. I finished the card off using a few pretty sequins also from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's it for my card! Thank you for stopping by and hope you all have a lovely week!!
