Whimsy Stamps June Release Day 2

Hello crafty friends!
Today is Day 2 of the Whimsy Stamps June clear stamps release.
Today we are showcasing the Ocean Journeys stamp set and the Ocean Journeys sentiment set.

To start my card I cut watercolor paper out of an oval die from Avery Elle, I then did some ink smooshing on top. I used 3 shades of blue from Zig real brush markers, scribbled them all over some acetate, spritzed with water and smooshed it down all over my watercolor oval to get my background look.
I stamped my boat seperatly on watercolor paper, colored in with my Zig markers and fussy cut out.
Once my oval panel was dry I was able to stamp my sentiment and adheref my peices onto a white card base.
To finish it off I added some Sparkling Clear sequins from PPP.

That's it for my card today!
I love this new nautical themed set and think it would be perfect for masculine cards!
Thank you SO much for stopping in today!!

Whimsy Stamps June Release Day 1

Hello!
I am happy to be guest designing with Whimsy Stamps again this month for their June clear stamp release.
Today we are showcasing the new stamp sets Need More and Squeezed.
They are both so much fun!

For my fist creation I used the Squeezed stamp set.
I started with watercolor paper and water colored some Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink by smooshing it on from some acetate, I also flicked some ink onto the sheet as well to get some splatters in the background. I used the Hand Stitched Border die from the last Whimsy Stamps release on each side of my water colored panel. I stamped my jug and glass on a separate piece of watercolor card stock, colored in using Zig real brush markers to make it look more like pink lemonade and then cut out with the coordinating dies, I fussy cut the little inner part of the jog myself. I adhered my glass down first directly to my panel but for my jug I adhered it on to some fun foam and then adhered it down to give it some dimension.
I scattered some Pink Peonies and Sparkling clear sequins from PPP around my images and then adhered my panel onto a pink card base made from Cotton Candy card stock from SSS.

For my second card using the Need More stamp set, I stamped my tea and coffee mugs onto watercolor paper and colored in with my Zig real brush markers and fussy cut out.
I used some plaid pattern paper I had in a paper stash for my background and adhered my white card panel that I had matted with some purple cardstock. I adhered my images on the card and scattered some sequins from PPP. I did some light ink splattering in the background but I didnt capture it so well. :P

That's it for my cards today!
I will be back tomorrow with day 2 of the release.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!!

Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge # 11

Hello!
Hope you're all having a lovely week so far!
A new challenge starts today at Stamping Smile Designs Tic-Tac-Toe challenge, with a new tic-tac-toe board to play along with.

I chose the row of Yellow, Ink Splatters and Scalloped Border.

I don't think I've ever really used much of yellow on my card so to do a whole background of it was a tad out of my comfort zone so I had to mix it with some orange too.
I started with watercolor paper and wet the entire piece with a wet paint brush, I found this helped blend some colors together, I then took my Zig real brush markers and layered color over top.
I splattered some of the orange marker onto my background to give get the subtle ink splatters.
I stamped my flower from the Friendship Blooms stamp set separately, colored in with Zig real brush markers and fussy cut out.
I die cut my scallop border out of some glitter cardstock from Scallop Rectangle dies from Pretty Pink Posh. I stamped my sentiment and finished off by scattering some gold sequins.

Hope you enjoyed my very yellow card:p
Hope you'll join along with the new challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping in today!!!

Birthday Tags

Hi crafty friends!
Hope your all having a lovely week so far! As if it's Friday already! Monday was a holiday hear in Canada so I just feel like this week flew by, which is always a nice feeling!

I'm stopping in today to share some Birthday tags I created with you.
I made 2 sets, one that I can use on boy gifts and the others for girlie gifts.
I used the Stitched Essentials die set from Pretty Pink Posh to create all the tags.

For my first set of tags I used the Fairy Friends stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
After cutting out all of my tags from white cardstock I stamped all my fairies and created masks with them as well, I used my masks to cover the fairies on the tag. I then ink blended a few different colors from the bottom up, creating a sort of ombre affect. Once my mask was removed I colored my images in with Copic markers. I stamped my sentiment from the Scripty Sayings stamp set also from Lawn Fawn.
I used some iridescent mini stars and mini gold hearts to scatter around the tags as a finishing touch, and added some bakers twine to the top.

For my second set I used the Caped Cuties set from Clearly Besotted. I repeated the same process to create them just using different ink colors and used both the silver and gold mini star confetti.

These Birthday tags will be perfect to have on hand for me for last minute cute tags for gifts.
Hope you enjoyed!

Thank you so very much for stopping in today!!
Hope you have a lovely weekend!!

Tic-Tac-Toe challenge # 10

Hello crafty friends!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
A new challenge starts today over at Stamping Smile Designs Tic-Tac-Toe challenge.

For my card I decided to use the row of baby, ombre and bow.

I started with a white piece of cardstock and ink blended with some pink ink to get my ombre background and lightly spritzed with water to get the distressed background.
I used the Plus One stamp set from Lawn Fawn for my stork, colored in with Copic markers and fussy cut out leaving a small white border. My clouds are from the Rainbow High die cuts from Mama Elephant. I used Claire's ABC's from Lawn Fawn to create my Welcome sentiment.
I finished off by adding some purple ribbon and scattering some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Hope you will join along for the current Tic-Tac-Toe board.

Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop

Hello there!

Today the Pretty Pink Posh team is having a blog hop to showcase the recent product release!
I'm SO very excited to participate in my first hop on the team!
You should have arrived from .... blog but if not you can start at the Pretty Pink Posh blog and I will have a full list at the bottom of my post.

For my first creation I used the brand new Storybook 4 die. I'm just in love with the Storybook dies and think this is a great addition! I seriously fell in LOVE with the new rose gold sequins, they are seriously just the prettiest, so I wanted to focus my card around them for a sweet sending hugs shaker card.
I cut my white cardstock with Storybook 4 die, created my shaker element with acetate and I used fun foam for dimension and then filled with the rose gold sequins and used some wood grain pattern paper in the background. I ised the Birdie Friends stamp set for both my sentiment and my sweet little birdie. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment on a strip of vellum and adhered on my shaker element. For my birdie, I stamped in frayed burlap distress ink on watercolor cardstock and colored in using Zig clean color markers and die cut out using the Birdie Friends coordinating dies.
To finish off this card I stamped the sprig twice from the Holiday Pals stamp set and cut them out using the coordinating dies.

For my second card, I again used the Birdie Friends stamp set and coordinating dies along with the brand new Stitched Essentials 1 die. I'm in love with these dies and can't wait to create some Birthday and Christmas tags with them to have on hand but today I wanted to use one of them on a card. I kept die cut as it came with the oval in the centre but it can be removed and used separately. I did some spotlight stamping here. I stamped my branch on both my card base and the tag and popped up the tag and the inner oval on some fun foam for dimension . I stamped and die cut some leaves to scatter around my branch. I stamped my little birdie and nest separately, colored my birdie with Copic markers and die cut out as well to adhere on top my branch. I adhered this on a green card base, added a strip of silver glitter paper and finished off by scattering the new and beautiful Wisteria Blossom mix.

I adore the new dies and sequins! I hope you enjoyed! Your next stop on the hop is the extremely talented Nina-Marie. There are 2 $25 dollar gift cards up for grabs for the Pretty Pink Posh store so be sure to leave comments along the way for your chance to win! Comments must be left by 11:59pm PDT on May 16/2016. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.
Thank you so very much for stopping by!!
