Watercolor Butterflies & Pretty Pink Posh announcement

Hello!

Thought I'd share a fun butterfly card with you today featuring the Blissful Butterflies stamp set from PPP. Love this tiny new set, the butterflies are just oh so pretty!

I started with a piece of watecolor  paper and stamped my butterflies and sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
I used my Zig markers to color in the butterflies and also do some watercolor splatters in the background. I then used one of the borders from the new Scallop Borders die also from PPP to give give this panel some more interest. I put some gold sparkle paper behind it and adhered the panel onto a purple card base.
And of course to finish it off I scattered a few sequins!

I'm so happy to announce I'll be staying on with the Pretty Pink Posh design team for another term! We have have some new designers joining us so to celebrate there is a matching game going over at the Pretty Pink Posh blog.
Match the designer with their card and someone will win a $100 gift certificate!
Hope you'll head over and play along!
hint: mine has lots of colorful sequins:P

Thank you so much for stopping by today!!
Enjoy your day!

Cheer up Friend featuring Pretty Pink Posh

Hi friends!

Hope your having a lovely week so far!
Stopping in today to share a quick card featuring the Rainy Days addition stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh.

For my card I started with some Fog cardstock from SSS and die cut with the Storybook 5 die. I ran the die through a second time with white cardstock to use the inside pieces for the background and sentiment.
For the background I blended a few colors of Distress ink and splattered with some water. I adhered both my background and sentiment piece in layed into my original fog colored piece I die cut.
I then stamped all my images onto white cardtock and cut out using the coordinating dies, the puddle I fussy cut out leaving a small white outline.
I adhered my images onto my background but I popped up my cloud with some foam tape.
To finish my card off I used some clear droplets to make it look like rain drops!
:)

That's it for me today!
Thank you for stopping by!!

Hello Beautiful Frame

Hello!
Happy Friday!! Yay for Fridays!:D
Popping in today with something a little different. I have a decor item to share with you today rather then a card.
It is fairly clean and simple looking but depending on what frame you may put it in, it looks elegant:)

Ok so on how to how I created it.
I started off with white card stock and die cut my beautiful sentiment with a die from MFT, (listed below) I stamped a small hello sentiment above the die cut image and then used some gold perfect pearls mist and sprayed some on towards the bottom of the piece.

On a separate piece of white cardstock, I traced the outline of the die its self with a pencil. I then filled that whole area in with gold sequins from PPP. I used both 4 mm and 6 mm and just used which ever one fit better in that area.
I adhered them all down by using Zots bling glue dots, You could probably do this using the normal ashesive you use for sequins however I started by using glossy accents but found the zots glue dots much easier as you can move them around and adjust them if needed.
I lined that piece up behind my main panel and that's it!
The frame I used is from Homesence or Winners, I can't actually remember sorry lol I tend to hoard frames and just store them until I need them.

I thought something like this would look really pretty on a make up table or area, also would be a nice gift. I'm having a baby girl so maybe this will go in her room , we shall see!!

Hope you enjoyed!
Have an amazing weekend!

CAS Unicorns and Rainbows featuring Mama Elephant

Hello!

Stopping in with a clean and simple card today.
I adore these unicorns so much I just had to use them again.

I used the Unicorns and Rainbows stamp set from Mama Elephant.
Starting with my Unicorns, I stamped them as well as my small rainbow on white card stock, colored in with Copic markers and fussy cut out.

I ink blended some light purple and blue inks onto my background.
I stamped my sentiment onto a black strip of card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Once all my elements were adhered onto the card I adhered some tiny iridescent and silver mini confetti stars from PPP around my scene.
That's it!

Super simple but the shine from the stars give it the perfect touch!
Thank you SO very much for stopping in!!

Pretty Pink Posh August Release Blog Hop

Hello!
Today is the August product release blog hop for Pretty Pink Posh!
The release is full of adorable new stamp sets, lovely dies and of course sequins!
You should have arrived from Amy Lee's blog.

I created some cute shaker tags for my first project that can be used for different occasions.
For these I used the Stitched Hexagons dies and the Fox Friends stamp set.
I'm in love with how versatile these hexagons are, and how they leave the stitching lines on both the inside and outside depending on what your creating.
I started by using the two largest hexagons by lying one inside the other to create a frame.
I created my backgrounds by doing some ink blending and then assembled by shakers and stuffed with sequins.I used dies from the Stitched Essentials dies to create the hole and surrounding circle to turn my hexagons into tags.
I stamped my foxes and flags on watercolor paper, colored in with zig real brush markers and cut out using the Fox Friends Coordinating dies

For my purple shaker I used the Wisteria Blossom sequin mix, Sparkling Clear sequin mix, 3mm Sparkling clear sequins and the Iridescent Mini Circle Confetti. I also changed directions of my flag in this one by mirror stamping my image.

For my second creation I created a card using the adorable Camping Friends stamp set and Coordinating Dies.
I started by created my background on watercolor paper by coloring with Distress inks and splattering some gold colors using the Starry Colors water color paints. I stamped my images from the stamp set on water color paper seperatley, colored in using my Zig real brush markers and cut out with the coordinating dies. I used one of the Scallop Borders as my ground and then adhered all my pieces on.
To finish the card I scattered on some silver and gold mini star confetti.

That's it for my cards!
Be sure to leave comments along the way as there are two $25 gift certificates to be won each day of the hop! Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PDT on August 17/2016. Winners will be announced on the Pretty Pink Posh blog.

Next on the hop is the lovely Kathy Racoosin.
