A little kindness goes a long way featuring Newton's Nook

Hi friends!
Happy Wednesday!

Stopping in to share a simple card with you today.
I haven't used these cutie doggies from Newton's Nook in a while so I decided to break them out.

I wanted the top to be clouds so I created my card base as normal, and used the stitched cloud dies from Lawn Fawn, placed the medium sized cloud die on the inside panel at the top and smaller sized clouds on the outside fold, doing this while the card is un-folded of course.
I stamped my doggy and cloud and colored in with Copic markers. I masked off my dog and ink blended various blue inks to get an ombre sky look. I had to extend the kite line as it wasn't quite long enough.
I then stamped my sentiment and heat embossed with white embossing powder, and to finish the card off I added a scattering of sequins from PPP.

Thank you SO much for stopping in today!

Graduation cards featuring Mama Elephant

Hello!
Hope you had a lovely weekend!

I had some graduations last month that I needed to create some cards for, so I decided to create the same design and just chance the colors slightly.
I have created a super similar card to this in the past but I just switched up the sentiment to suit graduation, so I instead of blabbering about the details of how I created it I will just link you here to my previous card if your interested.
I used the same stamp set, Carried Away by Mama Elephant but did change a few things so I will list those.

I apologize! I have great difficulties taking pictures of shaker cards sometimes, so the photo has some glare but hopefully you can see the sequins better on the close up shots:)

For my card on the left I used Seaglass cardstock from SSS for the base and balloon. I used a chevron stencil with the coordinating ink colors on all of the balloons. I used Wisteria Blossom sequins from PPP along with silver and iridescent mini stars.

The middle card I used Lavender cardstock from SSS. I boo booed on this on and made a large ink smudge on one the sides so I used some pink cardstock stripes down each side to cover it up.
The sequins for this card was Rose Gold, Sweet Pea and both silver and
iridescent mini star confetti.

The card on the left was for my brother so I had to make it a little more masculine. I used Surf Blue cardstock and the sequins I used on this card were Gold, Ocean Spray and both silver and gold mini iridescent stars.

That's it for my cards today!
I love that sentiment for graduation cards, just works perfectly!
Thank you for stopping by!

Pretty Pink Posh & Avery Elle collaboration blog hop.

Hello friends!

I'm so excited to be participating in today's Pretty Pink Posh and Avery Elle's collaboration blog hop!
You should have arrived from Vera's blog but if not I will have the hop list at the end of my post.

I used the PPP storybook 1 die as my panel to create my scene. I die cut it twice, once with Fog cardstock for the frame of it and the second time with white cardstock for the insert pieces. I used the Rectangle Scallop Frames die to frame my card and give it a pop of color.
For my scene and cute critters I used the Wild Birthday stamp set from Avery Elle. I stamped my critters and banner on white cardstock, colored in with Copic markers and fussy cut out to adhere onto my background. I stamped the sentiment from the set directly onto my background.

Pretty Pink Posh and Avery Elle are each giving away 2 $25 gift certificates! Leave a comment on each blog by July 24/2016  for your chance to win! Winners will be announced on the Pretty Pink Posh and Avery Elle's blogs.
Your next stop on the hop is the Pretty Pink Posh blog!

Hi! featuring PPP and Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty friends!

Stopping in today to share a card I created with the adorable Dad and Me stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started off by using the Storybook 4 die from PPP which I die out from white cardstock.
For my background, I ink blended a few different inks (will list below) and then splattered with some water for a fun distressed look. I adhered this panel behind my storybook window and adhered this panel onto a card base created from Seaglass cardstock from SSS.

For my scene, I stamped my water with Broken China Distress ink, my mountains in Smoke ink from SSS and fussy cut them out. For my critter I stamped them separately as well, colored in with Copic markers and also fussy cut out to put my scene together.
I wasn't sure what I wanted for a sentiment so I used Riley's ABC's to create a hi! sentiment.
I scattered some sparkling clear sequins from PPP to finish off my card!

That's it! Hope you enjoyed!
Appreciate you stopping by!
