The Card Concept #54

Hello!

A new challenge starts today over at The Card Concept.
How pretty are those lilacs in the inspiration photo!

This is my card, I was inspired on the flowers and colors from the inspiration photo.

My flowers are from the In Bloom stamp set from Winnie and Walter. I used water color paper and stamped the flowers twice in Frayed Burlap Distress ink and once on top with black ink. I colored in with Zig real brush markers and adhered this panel onto a purple card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Hope you'll play along with us for the current challenge at The Card Concept.

You're Super featuring Clearly Besotted

Hello!
Happy Monday! Hope you had a lovely weekend!

I have a fun card to share with you today featuring the Caped Cuties stamp set from Clearly Besotted.
I just love this stamp set! I knew I had to have it as soon as I had seen it.
Both my brothers and father are obsessed with superhero's and comics and I thought this set would be perfect for any cards I create for them while keeping with my style of using cutesy animals.

For my card, I used Smoke Gray cardstock from SSS for my card base and created my panel over my scene with white cardstock and the Storybook 1 die from PPP. I blended a few colors of Distress ink along with some other inks in my stash to create my background and splattered with some water to get the distressed look in the background.
For my criiters and my buildings and the moon, I stamped them all on a separate piece of white cardstock, colored in with Copic markers and fussy cut them out to add on to my scene!
I scattered some mini silver stars from PPP to finish of my sky.

Thats all for my card today!
Hope you enjoy these adorable super critters as much as me:p
Thank you so very much for stopping by!!

Many Happy Thoughts featuring Mama Elephant

Hello!
Happy Tuesday!

Here to share a clean and simple shaker card featuring some adorable images from the Carried away stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I used the cloud dies from the rainbow high die set to create my background with the cloud shaker areas, while cuing out my clouds I had a piece of fun foam behind it so that I could have the clouds cut in the same area and use this it as my dimensional piece to create my shaker.
For the balloon I used I cut some patterned paper from Lawn Fawn using the balloon die from the same die set and stamped my sentiment on it.
I colored my little girly and cute teddy with copic markers and fussy cut them out. I filled my clouds with some stars and sequins from pretty pink posh

I love the sentiment and think this would be a sweet card to send to someone that may need some cheering up.
That's it for my card today!
Thank you so very much for stopping by!!

Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #8

Hello!

Hope your having a lovely day!!
A new challenge starts today at Stamping Smile Designs Tic-Tac-Toe challenge blog, with a brand new tic-tac-toe board to play along with!

For my card today I used color inspirational, color, and square card.
If you chose to use a row with the color inspiration it is the colors above. For color, it is just a colored element on your card.

For my card base I used Blue Jay cardstock from Lawn Fawn. Loving this cardstock by the way! I just bought the rainbow pack to try out the colors and I was secretly hoping I wouldn't like all of them just for my wallets sake but man they are all so pretty!! & Just loving this navy/ royal ish blue color! (rambling..sorry!)
I stamped my background with the flower and leaves from the In Bloom stamp set from Winnie and Walter in some Nautical Blue Memento ink for a tone on tone background.
For my main flower and leaves I stamped them with Versamark ink on watercolor cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing power. I then colored in with my Zig real brush markers.
My sentiment is from the Better Together stamp set from Neat and Tangled, I also heat embossed with white embossing powder.
To finish it off I scattered some sparkling clear sequins from PPP.
I feel like I have to start copy and pasting that sentence for my future posts as I'm always finishing off with sparkling clear sequins, they're kinda my fav! :P

Thank you so much for stopping by!
I hope you'll play along with us at the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge!

The Card Concept # 53

Hello!

A new challenge starts today over at The Card Concept, based on the photo inspiration below.
The colors are so bright, bold and beautiful! Makes me think of summer!

I tried my best to mimic the brightness of the colors in my card.
I used the Pretty Little Peonies stamp set from Wplus9 to stamp my flowers on some watercolor.
I used Distress Crayons from Tim Holtz to color them in.
I varied from using a water brush to just smudging them in with my finger. I found that smudging them keeps their boldness which is what i was going for here but I will continue to play around with them, I haven't quite found the best way to use them yet.

I added some pattern paper and a tiny strip of pink cardstock on the side and added my sentiment. I adhered my panel on to a white card base and that finishes my card!

I hope you'll join along with The Card Concept! Love seeing what the creations!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!!

Mom + Me featuring Lawn Fawn

Hi crafty friends!

I have a mothers day card to share with you today. I will also be playing along with the Beautiful Florals challenge over at the Lawnscaping blog.

I used the Mom + Me stamp set from Lawn Fawn. This set is just too cute and I haven't gotten around to using it till now.
I did some masking to create my little scene here. I stamped my mama fox first and then my baby fox and masked them both off before stamping my stump. I colored my scene with Copic markers
I used Doll Pink carstock from SSS and stamped the smaller solid images in the set to make my background. I black heat embossed my sentiment onto some vellum and adhered onto my panel .
I adhered my finish panel onto a Fog card base.
I used some little flowers from the Springtime sequin mix from PPP to add to my grass to finish my card off!

That's it for me today!!
Thank you so very much for popping in!!

1 Stamp set 4 Cards featuring Simon Says Stamp

Hi there!
Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

I have 4 cards using the same stamp set to share with you today.
I used the Friendship Blooms stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. While I had it out I decided to do a few different designs with it.

Simon Monday Challenge Blog

For my first card I used a Surf Blue card base and a panel of water color paper. I stamped my larger flower, masked it off and then stamped my smaller flower. I colored them in with Zig real brush markers.

For this card I used a white card base and cut a slightly smaller piece of white cardstock with my wonky stitches die. I stamped my flowers on water color paper and colored with zig real brush markers and fussy cut them out. I cut the black scallop oval out from the   die set from Avery Elle. I stamped my sentiment and adhered my oval with some foam take and adhered my flowers around it. To finish it off I scattered some Sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

This card is a one panel card and was fairly simply . I stamped my flowers, I masked a few off before Stamping others and colored with Copic markers.

For my last card and what I think may be my favorite from them, I used a piece of patterned paper from DIY home Pebbles paper pack, love this paper pack by the way, such beautiful designs, my only problem with it is it only has one sheet of each design so if you fall in love with one design you can only use it once. I guess just an excuse for me to get another :p Ok for the rest of my card, I cut a white piece of cardstock with the smaller wonky stitches die . I stamped and colored the stems of the card on this piece but stamped and colored my flowers and butterflies separately on watercolor cardstock , colored with zig markers as well and fussy cut out. I stamped my sentiment and cut the piece into a small banner like shape. To finish it off I scattered some gold sequins from PPP.

The forth card pictured with the blue card base I actually mass produced with different colors for the base for the Lasting Hearts card drive. Minus the coloring it was very easy to mass produced.

That's it!! Hope you enjoyed my 4 cards from the same stamp set and I'm sure many more to come.  It's such a pretty, versatile set!

Thank you so very much for stopping by today!!

You Brighten My Day featuring Pretty Pink Posh

Hello again!
I have a cute little card to share with you today featuring a couple of the cute little critters from the Holiday Pals stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. Love that these cute little critters are perfect for non Holiday cards as well.

I decided to make a circle card today just to change it up a little.
I have an old circle maker from Creative Memories that I used to create both sizes of my circles. I cut the smaller clouds from the Puffy Cloud border set from Lawn Fawn out of scrap paper to used as a stencil to create the subtle clouds in my background. I used both the Stitched Hillside Border die and the Grassy Border die from Lawn Fawn to create my grass. I adhered them on top of my circle panel and cut the access paper off around. I then stamped my cut little bunny, kitty and hair bow on some watercolor paper and colored in with Zig real brush markers. I used the coordination dies to this set to cut out my images.
I added my sentiment from the Summertime charm stamp set from Lawn Fawn.To finish of my card I scattered a few sequins from the share handmade kindness mix from PPP.
That's it for my little circle card today. I really love these cute little guys and need to use them on more non Holiday cards because their adorable!
Thank you sooo much for stopping in!
Enjoy your day!

Chevron Florals and Blog Hop Winner

Hi crafty friends!
Happy Tuesday!
Before I get into the card today I wanted to share the winner from the Creative Fools blog hop.
The winner is lucky #17 which is Marianne!!
Congrats! If you send me your full name and address in the contact me area of my blog I'll make sure to get the prize out to you right away.

Ok onto my card.I have yet another floral card to share with you today. Since I got the In Bloom:Addie's Garden set from Winnie and Walter I just can't seem to put it away. I also went ahead stamped a bunch of flowers ahead of time, colored and cut them out and then of course needed to make cards for them all, so I have had quite a few cards featuring these pretty flowers lately.

Ok on to the card. This is kind of a bolder look for me but I like it!
I started with a white card base and stamped the Zig Zag background stamp set from Hero Arts in black. For my flowers I stamped them in Versafine ink on watercolor paper and heat embossed with gold embossing poweder, I then colored them in with my Zig real brush markers and a water brush. After fussy cutting them out I adhered them on my card where I wanted. I popped up the bottom 2 with some foam dimensional tape. For my sentiment I die cut a border from the Stitched Borders 3 die set from PPP and stamped the thank you sentiment across it from the Scripty Sayings stamp set from Lawn Fawn. To finish my card off I scatted some sparkling clear sequins and gold sequins from PPP around the card.
I love the way flowers look against the background! Hope you enjoyed.
Thank you SO much for stopping by!!

Spring Watercolor Roses featuring Newton's Nook

Hi crafty friends!

Here to share a card I created for the Spring Theme challenge over at Newtons Nook.
I loved breaking out such pretty, spring like colors! The snow has finally melted here and I'm certainly ready for spring!

For my today I used the Love Grows stamp set.
I started with watercolor cardstock and stamped my roses and leaves with versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I used various colors of inks and distress inks to water color my flowers and background with.
I colored the flower first and then colored the surrounding area in the same color for a little bit of a messy look. I also enjoy doing this because I don't have to worry about staying in the lines:P

I adhered my panel on to a white top fold card base.
I stamped my sentiment onto a stitched label die from PPP and finished my cards with some Sparkling Clear and Fairytale Fuchisa sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's it for my card today!
Thank you for dropping in!
