Simple pillow box featuring Newton's Nook

Hello again!
Just stopping in quickly today share a super simple pillow box I created using the Wagon of Wishes stamp set from Newtons Nook. The pillow box die is from Lawn Fawn.
I will be playing along with Halloween challenge with Newton's Nook today.

So as I mentioned this is a super simple pillow box. I die cut the pillow box out of water color paper, stamped my image and colored with my Zig real brush markers and assembled the pillow box.
That's it lol! I wanted to create a Halloween pillow box for my niece so I can stuff with my candy for her but I wanted to keep it pretty simple as she is 5 and won't care about the box as much as the candy inside:p I debated not sharing it as it is so super simple but it's cute!

That's it for me today! Thank you so much for stopping by!:)

Thank you featuring W plus 9

Hi there!
Happy Monday!
Here with a cute simple thank you card today.
I don't have to much to explain with this card today. Besides coloring and some masking it was pretty simple. I used 3 sets from W plus 9, the giraffe from Party Animals, the elephant from Unforgettable and the branch from A New Day.
I used a border die from the stitched border dies from Lawn Fawn on each side of the card and adhered it on a Fog card base from Simon Says Stamp.

That's it! A pretty simple card but I think these 2 guys together are so cute!
Thank you so much for stopping by to look at my card today!:)

Love You a Latte

Hi Crafty Friends!

I kept may card pretty clean and simple. I started off with white card from SSS and masked off an area with masking tape to stamp all my images from the Love You a Latte set from Lawn Fawn and colored in with Copic markers. I used a stitched border die also from Lawn Fawn to give the colored area more interest and stamped my sentiment from the Scripty sayings stamp set.

That's it for my card today! I'm going to try and get my card making on!
Have a lovely Sunday!
Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Happy Harvest

Hello again!!

I have another card to share with you featuring the Happy Harvest set from Lawn Fawn.
I have to warn you, you may be seeing a lot from me using this set this season. I don't have a lot of Halloween/ Fall sets as I never used them much in the passed but I just adore this set so it may be one of my go to sets this season.
I'm also using the Storybook 1 die from Pretty Pink Posh. I'm also loving this die, it gives the perfect touch to any card.

On to my card: I started with white cardstock from SSS and die cut using the Storybook 1 die and also die but the edges of this panel with the Stitched Borders 2 dies also from Pretty Pink Posh for the stitched edge. You could replace this step with a stitched rectangle die but I didn't have any the size I wanted for this. Other then that the card is fairly simple. I stamped my images on the inserts that cut from the Storybook 1 die along with the side of the panel and colored with Copic markers. I adhered it all together on a card base from Icy mint cardstock from Bazzil. I finished it off with scattering some gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Thank you so very much for stopping by!

The Card Concept- Challenge #40

Hi crafty friends!
Happy Wednesday!

Here today with another challenge for The Card Concept. This weeks challenge is Forest Friends. How adorable is that inspiration picture?

For my card I used a few different stamp sets from Lawn Fawn. The critters are from Critters in the Forest. I stamped my fox first and then masked him off with a mask I created by simply stamping him again on printer paper, fussy cutting him out and temporally adhering it on top of my stamped image, I then stamped my other two friends and masked them as well to stamp my trees in the background and the wood-grain, I also blended the same color ink I stamped the wood-grain stamp in around the critters. I took off my masks and colored my critters with Copic markers. I added my sentiment from the Happy Harvest set and used a border from the Stitched Borders die, around the sides and adhered the panel on a white card base to keep it nice and clean.

That's it for my card today. Would love if you played along with us at  The Card Concept. The challenge ends Monday Oct 5 at noon(PST).
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
Hope your all having a lovely week so far!

Bella's Birthday!

Hi crafty friends!!
Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I feel like it kinda flew by!

I have a really fun/ adorable card to share with you today.  I often look at others cards and go woah! I love that card! but don't often do it to my own, but I have to say I really love how this card turned out lol.
I discovered these super adorable stamps from Wild Rose Studio. I'm not sure if they're a newer company or just new to me but wow they're so cute.
This particular stamp is called Bella's Birthday.

I started with water color paper and did the ink "smooshing" technique. I put some Distress inks on some acetate , spritz them with water and smooshed it on my background. I also sprayed the background with some heirloom gold perfect pearls mist. Once my background was dry I stamped my sentiment from the Unforgettable set from W plus 9 and my main image. I mainly stamped my image on my background as a guide where to put my image onece i had colored it with copic and cut it out, I also wanted the string for the balloon in the background and I wasn't going to attempt to fussy cut that out.:P
I used gold glitter paper with the Twine & Bows die from Pretty Pink Posh to put on the side, I very much think that die is genius!:)
I then scatted my card with some sequins also from PPP.
I knew I wanted to layer my card on some sort of teal color to pull the card all together but I didn't have any card stock that quite matched the color of my balloon so I used white card stock and colored the edges with the same Copic marker I used to color the balloon. I then adhered my panels onto a white card base.

Copics used:

That's it for me today! Hope you enjoyed this fun birthday card.
Have a lovely Monday!!

Happy Harvest for Lawnscaping Texture challenge

Hi there!
Hoping your all having a lovely week so far!

Stopping in to share a card I created for the Texture challenge over at the Lawnscaping Challenge blog.

I the used the adorable new Happy Harvest set for this card. I'm in love with all the new Holiday stamp sets from Lawn Fawn, they're all soo cute. I wish i had em all! Anywho, on to the card details:p
I started with Neenah 80lb white cardstock for the main card panel. I used my cuddlebug with a border die from the Stitched Borders around the edges of the panel, I then used a doily stencil I have on hand from Michaels, and covered it in white texture paste. I stamped and colored my little scarecrow and pumpkin on watercolor paper with my Zig clean color real brush markers and fussy cut them out. I cut a small strip of sticky back canvas, I tore one side of it for a texture, frayed look and then stamped the leaves and corn in the set and blended distress ink on it before adhering to my card. I stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

Here's a close up so you can see the texture a tad better

I like the way it turned out and definitely need to remind myself to take out the texture pate more often! Well that's it for me today. Hope you enjoyed my card!
Have a lovely rest of your week!!

Birthday Bears Watercolor

Hello!
Happy Monday! Hoe you had a lovely weekend!!
I have another card to share with you today using the Birthday Bears stamp set from My Favourite things! I know it probably appears I'm obsessed with this set and I do love it but I just created multiple cards with it while I had it out. I'm guilty having having stamp sets, creating one card and just letting it collect dust for a while.

I will also be playing along the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge blog for the Use a stamp challenge.

For my main panel, I used watercolor paper, die cut from a stitched rectangle die and stamped my scene in Versafine ink and then colored with my Zig watercolor markers and a water brush. The chevron background I created using a chevron stencil and sponging in some green inks and used a stitched border die from Lawn Fawn around the edges. I mainly wanted to color for this card so I kept the design simple.

That's it for my card today! I've started with my fall and Christmas cards so I will be sharing those soon.
Thank you so much for stoping by!!
Enjoy your day!!

Flower Bookmarks

Hello!!
Happy Friday!!:D
Here to share some bookmarks I made with you today. So, I very much enjoy to read but always use a sticky note to hold my place so I decided to make some book marks finally .

I used the  Love Grows stamp set from Newton's Nook and Our Friendship Grows stamp set from Lawn Fawn for these.
To start these off I used 120lb cardstock from SSS and cut two 2 1/2" by 5 3/4" pieces. They are kind of thick book marks but I wanted them a little thicker then usual to have more of an image.
I then stamped my flowers on each with memento black ink and colored the whole thing with Copic markers including the backgrounds.
I laminated them and punched a hole on top to add some bakers twine.

This one is using Love Grows from Newtons Nook.
Copics used:
R35 R29 BG13 BG15 BV000 BV00 V06 V12 G000 G00 YG63 YG03 RV02 RV04 & Colorless blender

This bookmark is using the Our Friendship Grows stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
Copics used:
Y11 Y13 C1 C3 R35 R29 YG03 YG63 BV00 BV000.
I used the colorless blender to create polka dots in my background, however it turned out to look like a snowy background which was not my intention but I just went with it :p

That's it for me today. Hope your all having a lovely week! Is it just me or did this week go by fast? That Holiday Monday sure helped.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!

The Card Concept challenge #39

Hello!
Here today with my first post as a clean and graphic designer for The Card Concept.
So grateful to be joining such a talented group of ladies!
I just fell in love with this inspiration photo! That blue color with the white and tad bit of yellow from the flowers is just beautiful together. I immediately knew I wanted to use the Delightful Day set from Clearly Besotted with the daisies.

I started with white card stock, stamped my jar and flowers inside and masked them off so I can sponge a little bit of light blue ink in the background. Once I removed my masks I colored my images with Copic markers. Stamped my sentiment and adhered my panel onto some Surf Blue card stock from Simon Says Stamp.

Go over to The Card Concept if you'd like to play along! You have till Mon Sept 14 to enter your project.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!!
Hope your all having a lovely week so far!

Have A Beary Special Day

Hi crafty friends!
I have another shaker card to share with you today featuring the Birthday Bears stamp set from My Favorite things once again.
I have to tell you I almost gave up on this card several times. It just wasn't working for me. I thought I had it ready to go and then I noticed I had the background paper I created upside down so I had to rip it off and start it again but I finally finished it!

I created the pattern paper my using sentiments in the set  along with some images and then blending a few different colors on top. My shaker element piece I used water color paper, stamped my imaged and colored with my Zig clean color brush marks along with some color in the background. I die cut a scallop circle and adhered my acetate piece the back. I assembled my shaker with some foam tape and used some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh inside, I realized after I could have used a lot more but I had such difficulties assembling this shaker card for whatever reason that I didn't want to open it back up again lol.

Even though this card gave me troubles I like the way it turned out. I also just love this adorable set! Hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Loads of Thanks featuring Newtons Nook

Hi crafty friends!
Happy Monday. I believe it is a Holiday for most of us. Yay to that! I'm happy to be spending most of my day in the craft room!

So just stopping by to share a quick post with a clean and simple thank you card.

I started off with a heavier weight piece of white cardstock. I masked off the 4 sides with masking tape. I used the Wagon of Wishes stamp set from Newton's Nook. I stamped my wagon and flowers first and masked them off to protect them while I created the background. I started by sponging in my grass with some green ink. I used a mask I created with the hillside border die from Lawn Fawn to create the hill. I then covered up my hill to sponge in my blue sky. Once by background was done I removed all my masks, colored my wagon and flowers with Copic markers and stamped my sentiment. I adhered my panel on a card base I created from Crumb Cake card stock.

Birthday Bears Shaker card featuring My Favorite Things

Hi again!!

Happy Friday!!
Hope you all had a lovely week and have some lovely plans for this week! It's a long weekend so I'm hoping to get some well needed crafty time!
Stopping by quickly to share a fun shaker card using the adorable Birthday Bears set from My Favorite Things. I've actually made a few cards with this set recently so you will seeing it again soon;)

I once again did some watercoloring with my Zig clean color markers. I just love the vibrant look it gives. So I started off with water colored paper and colored in the grass. I start my laying down my color and then going in with my water brush to move it around. The dark green top part of the grass was a total mistake . I simply did a darker green line but once I added water it just went everywhere but ended up making an awesome grass looking affect ( I love happy mistakes)
Anyhow, I colored my banner and balloon and then moved onto my bears which I stamped on separate pieces and fussy cut out to adhere on the card. I die cut the white fence using the Picket Fence by from Pretty Pink Posh. Once I had added my sentiment I was done this panel. I added some thin pieces of foam tape to the side, filled with my sequins also from Pretty Pink Posh and closed off with some vellum. I created the polka dot frame from some pattern paper I had in my stash.

I love the way the card turned out, however I have learned that it is probably best to have a one layer panel when making shaker cards because my sequins were getting stuck under my little bears no matter how flat I glued them down, Oh well, I will know for next time!:)
Hope you enjoyed.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!
Happy Friday and have a lovely weekend!!

Watercolor Picture Frame

Hello!

So I have a project to share with you today that was supposed to be a card but I loved the way the colours turned out so much that I ended up framing it to add to a shelf to my craft room:p
I will try and recreate it to actually make into a card eventually.

I used an older tree silhouette stamp I had, this particular one was from Inkadinkado. I stamped it on water color paper with black versafine ink. This is my favorite ink for more detailed images and it doesn't bleed with water coloring. As you can tell, because of the texture of the water color paper the bottom of the tree line didn't stamp properly. I was going to try and fill this in to make it more crisp
but I decided I didn't want to screw it up so I left it as is, and it kind of gave it more of the reflection look, so I'm ok with it lol.
After I stamped the main image I created my reflection area. I did that by stamping the same image on acetate and sprayed generously with water  and pressed it upside down under the trees. Once I had my image done, I just started water coloring using distress inks until I got the colors the way I wanted.

That's it for my project today. I hope you enjoyed my non card project. Once I do duplicate this and create a card with it I will certainly share!
Hope your all having a lovely week!

Sweet Day featuring Penny Black

Hello again!

I took a break from my watercolor markers and did some coloring with some Copics of this darling image. It's the Sweet Day stamp set from Penny Black. The strawberrys remind me of summer so had to bring this stamp out.
I used a heavy base white cardstock to stamp and color my image. The sentiment is from the Happy Mail stamp set from W plus 9 that I stamped on a label I die cut from Pretty Pink Posh. I die cut my white panel and some polka dot patterned paper I ha in my stash with an older edge lit die from Stampin up.

\
I kept my design simple because I really just wanted to play around with my coloring, Its kind of been a while since I've been so hooked on my water colored markers.
I will list all the Copics used below.
