Holiday Bird Card with Stampin up

Hello!

Here with my last Holiday card of the season! Merry Christmas eve!(depending which time zone you're on)

I started this card off with a red card base.
The bird stamp and sentiment is called Beautiful Season's from Stampin up. I stamped the bird and sentiment in Versafine ink. I then used the rubber that comes with the stamp set, its the part that your stamps sit inside until you punch them out to mount (I hope that makes sense!) I used that part on top of my stamped image as it is the same shape and then sponged in some crumb cake ink on it. I did the same with the sentiment.
I did color in with copics but waited for the ink to be completely dry as I didn't use copic friendly ink because the versa fine picks up all the details on more detailed stamps.

Have a Sweet Christmas with Lawn Fawn

Here to play along with the Lawnscaping Merry Christmas Challenge again.

I have loved seeing all the Christmas and Holiday cards being made with "non traditional" Christmas card colors. The pinks, purples, bright shades, they are all soo much fun that I wanted to break out of my comfort zone just a tad to make one my self. My favorite color is purple so I of course went with purple. I really didn't break out of my comfort zone at all as its a simple card but I love the purple!:)

Neutral Happy Holidays card with Lawn Fawn

Hello!
Hope you are all enjoying the Holidays! I have finally finished my Christmas shopping today, which I find very exciting, I now plan on avoiding the stores like the plaque until boxing day (my guilty pleasure).
Here to play along with two different challenge blogs today! I usually only play along with one at a time but this card happens to work for both:)

First is the Lawnscaping Merry Christmas challenge, so much beautiful inspiration over there!

Second is the The Card Concept Silent Night Neutrals challenge. They have a beautiful inspiration photo on their blog to inspire your card design. I loved the neutral colors, they are so warm and liked the tiny star cookies which inspired my stars on my card! My card would fit into the Clean and Layered categorty for this challenge.

I made yet another Holiday card but if the sentiment is changed it could easily work for other occasions. I kept it pretty simple. I started with grey as my card and wanted the top panel to be grey as well but I matted a slightly larger white piece under it so it wouldn't be over whelming with just grey. I embossed the top grey panel through my cuddlebug. I used a small scallop circle die and a smaller regular circle die to make the middle piece. I stamped the circle piece with a Christmas script background stamp just to add some character as its not overly noticeable. The adorable coffee cup I stamped using Lawn Fawn's Love You a Latte stamp set , colored it with Copic marker and cut it out. I have a small start punch from Fiskars that I used to punch out the stars with some silver sparkle paper to add some shine with all the neutral colors. The sentiment is also from Lawn Fawn's Love You a Latte stamp set.

Supplies:

Merry Christmas Backgound stamp is from The Stamp Barn
Embossing folder is by Sizzix from Stampin up

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed my neutral card today! Hope you are enjoying all your Holiday preparations whatever they may be:)

Snowflake Gift Card Holder

Hello!
Hope everyone is almost all ready for the Holidays!! Today, I'm sharing a card to hold a gift card. I call it my gift card, card , if that makes since lol. I wanted it to look like a gift.
This card has 4 folds. Kind of accordion like. I did this with 2 sheets of white cardstock so make it long ., although if you don't care if it is a little smaller i'm sure you can achieve a similar look with 1 sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock.
I basically formed 2 different cards, with one I left more space to be able to score about an inch of it to be able to paste the other card together so that it is all attached.

I then matted each side on some Old Olive cardstock by Stampin up.
I decorated the front with various snowflakes from the Endless Wishes stamp set by Stampin up. Added some sparkly ribbon to make it look like a wrapped gift and a tiny little tag.

The area where the gift card is held is just an envelope that I cut and used my 1 3/4 circle punch on the top of.

Supplies:
Stamps:
Endless Wishes by Stampin up
Love You a Latte by Lawn Fawn (sentiment on gift card area)

Cardstock:
Old Olive by Stampin up
White by Reflections

Ink:
Old Olive by Stampin up
Bashful Blue by Stampin up
Baja Breeze by Stampin up

Thank you so much for looking and hope you're enjoying preparing for the Holidays!

Cute Reindeer card made with Cricut

Hi fellow crafters.

Here with yet another Holiday card to share:P

Before I share my card, I just quickly wanted to mention, I have been having issues with my blog lately. Every time it was viewed an annoying little pop up came up that said "no data". It took be forever to figure it out but I did!:) Turns out my inlinks (what I use to share products used) link was broken. Once I deleted every single last link it worked again. Ok all this to say that some of my old posts may be missing some product info. I tried my best to go back and write it all in but I'm sure there is the odd one I misses, so I apologize in advance!

Ok the card! I made a cute little reindeer card using the Create a Critter cricut cartridge. Besides putting all the layers together of the little reindeer, this card is pretty simple. The white card I embossed the top half with a snow flake embossing folder from cuttlebug.  The tag I also cut using the cricut and sponged some blue ink on it and added a sparkly hill. Added some twine on top and some blue twine around the card with a bow.
Oh and some glossy accent to his cute little nose:)

Products:
Create a Critter cricut cartridge
Snowflake embossing folder by Cuddle bug
Island Indigo bakers twine from Stampin up
used various cardstock scraps for the reindeer and some sparkle paper for the "snow" hill.

Hope your enjoying getting ready for the Holidays!! Thanks for stopping by to look at my card:)

Glittery Ornament card with Hero Arts

Here with another Holiday card today. I'm not sure what I'm going to do once the Holidays are over, I feel like the only cards I can make right now are Christmas cards and I really don't need anymore to give to family and friends but I keep making them anyways:P Oh well:).

I will be participating today's card in Simon Says Stamp Bling it on challenge. Such a fun challenge! I love glitter and sparkles so it was very much for me:)

I made this card using Hero Arts products.
I started with a white card base and stamped the three ornament. I wanted kind of an ombre affect on them, which doesn't pick up that well in the photos but to do this I added some white ink on the bottom part of the stamp and then simply stamped over the color for a slight shade difference.
I then stamped the snow flakes in the background with a light blue ink and then the sentiment in Memento tuxedo black.
So the complete glitter background sadly does not show in the photos nearly as much as it does in person of how wonderfully glittery it is but I did this by pressing Versamark ink all over my paper and then covered in clear glittery embossing powder ( I used Iridescent Ice by Stampin up) I then set it with my heat gun. I did this step twice to make it extra glittery:)

Merry Christmas Kitty card with Newton's Nook

I have another Newton's Nook Christmas card to share with you! I just love this set! I think I've used every stamp in the set this Holiday season. I did my Christmas stamp shopping early this year, to be more prepared I guess and as soon as I got my stamps in the mail  a bunch of new stamps from my favorite companies were released for this year, including Newton's nook. Oh well! Love this stamp set so it doesn't matter that I'm a tad behind lol. Next year ill wait a little longer :p
I think this card is a pretty self explanatory one as itès a simple one.
Stamped the image and colored in with copic markers and did some stitching lines with a black marker around the edge.
The sentiment stamps are from Warm and Cozy Christmas from Gina K Designs.

I have also participated my card in the Newton's Nook Christmas theme challenge. Love Christmas cards, so much fun!:)

Classic Santa Card

Hello again.
Here with another Holiday card. I will be taking part in the Christmas/ Holiday card challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge blog.

I have been making very cutesy like cards so here today with a little more 'classy' Christmas card for you.
Simple but elegant. I just adore this Santa stamp soo very much.
I picked this stamp up a few years ago from a local stamp store of mine.
I used a brown card base. I stamped the Merry Christmas script background stamp (also from my local stamp store) onto Kraft card stock. I wrapped some baby blue ribbon and twine around it before I adhered it onto the card base.
For Santa, I stamped him with Onyx Black Versafine ink. This stamp has a lot of details so Versafine is the best ink for this as it brings out the finest details in stamped images.
I then colored his face in using a pinky colored marker from Tombow. You do not want to use copic markers with this as the versafine ink will bleed. Added some red to his glasses just using a simple fine tip marker or pen.
I then covered the image with double sided tape ( Its actually sheets of double sided tacky film, not like strips of tape, I unfortunately used my last little bit and threw out the packaging so I don't know what its called, Sorry!) I then covered it in clear glitter. I used transparrent Micro Fine Glitter by Glitter Ritz. Sadly this does not pick up well on the picture but it person its beautifully glittery!

Crumb Cake by Stampin up

Christmas Owl card with Art Impressions stamp

Hi!:)
Here today with a cute little owl card! I kinda love owls lately for whatever reason. This stamp set though, just caught my eye, these cute owls with their cute little hats! This stamp set is from Art Impressions, which is another new company in to my stamp stash and I just love it.

I will be participating this card in the Simon Says Stamp Christmas/Holidays challenge over on their Wednesday challenge blog today and also their Holiday card challenge over on their Monday challenge blog. :)

Ok so onto the how to.
I stamped the owls with Memento ink onto a heavier base white cardstock because I colored with copics.
The branch I drew in my self. I am not a drawer! Just sketched it with pencil and then colored it in with copics and outlined in with a black pen.
I then colored in all the owls. I varied the browns on all of them. (I will list all the copics below)
I then stamped and embossed all the snowflakes in the background (stamp set is Endless Wishes by Stampin up) with versa mark and white embossing powder.
Before i added the blue sky background I needed to mask off my owls. However I was too lazy to fussy cut out a mask to lay on it so I just covered the whole image with glassy accents. Oh I added wink of Stella glitter to the hats first of course:)
After the glossy accents completely dried I used my Ranger blending tool and blended varies shades of blue ink on the top.
Wiped the ink of owls and stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment.

White on White Challenge with Lawn Fawn

Hello!
Here with a card to join in on the Lawnscaping white on white challenge today! I've always loved the look of white on white on a cards, other peoples cards that is because I've never made one myself, it always looks so classy. I found it difficult just because I felt it needed a pop of color or something, a red heart, something! But I kept to the rules:) I did add some silver glitter paper though! I enjoyed that this challenge made me come out of my comfort zone a little. I actually made 2 white on white cards for the challenge.

Here's my card for today:

I matted white cardstock on top of silver sparkle cardstock and matted it on white again. The circle scallop I die cut using a die from spellbinders. Stamped images and sentiment and simple added some wink of stella glitter to the mug. That's it! A white on white simple card:)

All stamps are from the Love you a latte stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

Thanks for looking!:)
