Happy New Home card featuring Lawn Fawn & Avery Elle

Hello!
Hope you're all having a lovely week so far.
I've been crazy tired this week for no particular reason, maybe its all the rain were having here & I thought today was Wednesday, turns out its only Tuesday, bummer!

Any-who, stopping in today to share a card I made for Less is More, One layer card challenge, the theme this week is Home.
This theme couldn't have came at a better time for me. My best friend just informed me she's moving into a new place as of July 1st, so this card will be for her!:)

I don't have any house or home stamps so I had to work with what I had. I used what is supposed to be the gingerbread house from the Sweet Christmas stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I stamped this first, colored with Copic markers and then masked it off to sponge on some green in the grass area and a little bit of blue in the sky. I stamped the sentiment using the Lovely Letters stamp set from Avery Elle.

Copics used:
E31 E33 E55 E57 E59 B00 BV00 BV000

That's it for me today. I'm off to binge watch some Scandal on Netflix.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
Thank you so much for stopping in!!

  1. Such a pretty card, Shannon! Love your beautiful sponged background. Totally love how you make use of your stamp by turning a Christmas gingerbread home to a "new home" card. Love it!
