CAS Happy Holidays featuring Altenew and Pretty Pink Posh

Hi there!

Here with another quick and simple card today!
I have been creating a lot of CAS Holiday cards for this season, simply because my baby girl is due to arrive in December and it's getting harder for me to sit for a long period of time to create because my back kills! Ugh! So quick CAS cards have been lovely to create in one sitting:).

For my card I used a heavy base white card base and stamped my trees from the Pine Tree mini stamp set from Altenew. This is a layering set so I stamped my solid part of the tree first with a light green color and stamped the detail stamp directly on top with a slightly darker ink. I don't have a whole lot of green inks so I only used 2 green colors to do this, one for each different colored tree, I used second generation stamping , so for my solid image I stamped off the page first before stamping on my project. I colored slightly under the trees with Copic markers. I stamped my sentiment and snowflakes from the Holiday Greetings stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh, and to finish it off I added some dots of silver stickles among the snowflakes.

Hope you enjoyed my CAS card today!
Thank you so much for stopping in!!

Friends Make Life Beautiful

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!

I have a CAS card to share with you today!
I thought I'd share one or two more non Holiday cards before I get into my Christmas and Holiday cards:)

This card was fairly simple to create and would be super easy to duplicate. In fact I may use this design again to create some thank you cards for when I have my baby shower.

I started with a white piece of cardstock that I cut on each side with the Scallop Border Dies from PPP. The hearts I stamped in Smoke ink from SSS and are from the Written in Watercolor stamp set from MFT. The sentiment is a die also from MFT that I die cut 3 times from Cotton Candy cardstock from SSS and adhered them all together to give it more dimension. I stamped the sentiment from Penguins in Paradise stamp set above the die cut and added some sparkling clear and gold sequins from PPP. I adhered this panel on an A2 Fog card base to finish it off.
That's it for my CAS card today!

Thank you so much for stopping by hope you're having a lovely day!

Pretty Pink Posh and Altenew Blog Hop

 Hello!

Today Pretty Pink Posh and Altenew have collaborated for a special blog hop, with amazing prizes!
You should have arrived from Amy Wanford's blog but if not I will have a full list of the hop order at the bottom of my post!

For my card I used the Birch Land and Pine Tree stamp sets from Altenew with the Scallop Circles die and Winter Sparkle Mix sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
I stamped all my images first before masking them off and ink blending a few different colors for my sky. I colored the images that needed coloring with Copic markers (the trees Pine Trees did not need coloring as they are a stamp layering stamp set) I then added some Silver Stickles along the top of bird house and a tad on the trees to make it look like sparkly snow.
I added my sentiment on a thin strip of card stock and adhered it behind my scallop circle before adding this on a Fog card base.
To finish off my card I scattered some Winter Sparkle sequins.

To celebrate the blog hop both Altenew and Pretty Pink Posh are offering %10 off in their shops by using the coupon codes below until October 30/16.

There are 2 $100 prize packs up for grabs from Altenew and Pretty Pink Posh so be sure to leave your comments along the way for your chance to win!

Happy Harvest Watercolor Card featuring Lawn Fawn

Hello!
Happy Wednesday!

I have a fall card to share with you today!
It's definitely that time of year! Sweaters are out and there's pumpkin spice everywhere!

I created my card using the Happy Harvest stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started with water color paper to create my background. I wiped on some red and orange color with my Zig real brush markers and colored with a water brush, I also flicked on some splatters for more interest. I stamped my images on a separate piece of water color paper, again using my Zig real brush markers to color them in, I then fussy cut my images out leaving a small white border.
After adhering my images where I wanted them I stamped my sentiment and adhered my panel onto a white card base that I ran through my cuttlebug with an older embossing folder from Stampin up (I believe) for a little bit of texture in the background.

That's it for my card today! Hope you enjoyed!
Thank you so much for popping in today!!

Pretty Pink Posh October Release Bog Hop

Hello Crafty Friends!!

Today is day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh October release blog hop!
You should have arrived from Heather Hoffman's blog but if not I will have a full list at the bottom.
I'm very much in love with the new adorable stamp sets and the sequin mixes are truly amazing!

For my first creation I used the new Christmas Friends stamp set. I started off with a white A2 card base and did some ink blending with purple ink towards the bottom of my card, becoming lighter handed towards the top. I used the Scallop Borders die from the previous release as my snow hill. For my sweet characters and presents I stamped them on separate card stock, colored them in with Copic markers and cut out using the coordinating dies, then adhering them on my card base To finish my background up I stamped the tiny snow flakes in the set and then added the 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins and some sequins and the snowflakes from the Winter Sparkle Mix. I finished my card off by stamping my sentiment into the snow area.

For my second creation I decided to make a shaker card. I used the new Stitched Pieces Die on some pattern paper to create my shaker element and filled with gorgeous new Holiday Shimmer Mix. I ran the stitches pieces die through my die cut machine once again with some white card stock to have an area for my sentiment which I stamped fro, the Holiday Greetings stamp set (which is not available for purchase, this is a gift you receive free if you purchase $100 or more!) I stamped my little snowman from the Happy Snowman set on white card stock and fussy cut him out to adhere on the bottom of my shaker element. To finish off my card I die cut some silver glitter paper with the Scallop border dies and added some snowflakes from the same Holiday Shimmer Mix.

If you spend $100 or more you will receive the lovely Holiday Greeting stamp set, while supplies last!

Thank you so much for hopping along with us!
There are 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (2 for each day of the hop) so make sure to leave comments along the way! Comments must be left by 11:59 PDT on October 20/2016. Winners will be announced on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog.
