The Card Concept Love Challenge: Watercolor card

Hello!
Hope everyone is having a lovely week so far! I am here today to play along with The Card Concept Love challenge today. I love breaking in to the love and valentines day theme cards! Maybe it's because I love all the girly colors, either way I enjoyed creating my love themed card for this challenge:)
I got my water coloring on not so long ago with a different card and had so much fun with it , that I haven't been able to stop, so another water colored card today!:)

I believe my card would fit into the Clean & Graphic style category. It's not so much clean with the splats of water color but the layout is clean and I think the water color effect gives it a graphic look.

I started off with water colored paper and cut out a heart to use as a mask. I used a variation of red and pink water colored paints and just randomly painted it while flicking some 'splotches' on the way to give it more of a bold look. I cut out the love sentiment from my Home Accents Cricut cartridge, added some gems and used some basic gray cardstock as a card base.

A little bit of a close up

Have a lovely day & thank you for stopping by!!:)

Supplies:

Basic gray cardstock by Stampin up
Watercolor paper from Michaels
Water colored paint palette from Michaels
Silver shimmery cardstock from Michaels
